About Us

Down South Catering is a Ringwood based catering company, specialising in South African food. The owners Ferdi and Sue have been in the UK for 4 years and have had jointly 10 years experience in the catering industry. In South Africa they successfully started Flawless Catering and Martinique coffee shop. On leaving South Africa they started the new business venture with two online shops

In August 2007 they started Down South Catering, and in August 2008 they opened their South African shop, Down South in Ringwood. Operating in the South and South West of England, Down South Catering, has several shows and private functions under its belt.
The have braaied for Mike Bushel of the BBC at the Outdoor Lifestyle Show in Dorset. Fed the masses at the Wimborne food festival, Fed the very hungry South African London Rugby team and much more.

Quality meat, attention to detail and personal service are the building blocks of Down South Catering. No request is too much trouble for this team. All staff are well trained, polite and neatly turned out for each occasion. Ferdi and Sue are ALWAYS in attendance at their functions, and ready to go the extra mile for their customers.
